Safety: An RSI Priority
Of course we have safety program, but more than that, we have a culture of working safely. Taking safety seriously builds loyalty to the company and instills pride in our crews. Having safe, clean and organized job sites is not only good for our reputation, but our clients' reputations as well.
We also recognize that safety performances is an integral and heavily weighted part of the subcontractor selection process. To this end we have developed a program based on what we believe to be key elements;
Planning – Make safety a major part of all our job site pre planning activities. It's critical to have job foreman involved at this early stage.
Foreman – We believe crew foreman are the back bone of our safety efforts. They all have good attitudes toward safety and a major part of their performance is evaluated on safety.
Training – Workers have the knowledge and technical know-how to perform safely.
Constant Emphasis – Safety needs to be a priority and this message must continually be communicated.
We have strived to continually improve our safety program. Our modifier for the past five years are as follows; 2009- 0.64, 2008-0.68, 2007-0.72, 2006-0.8, 2005-0.8.
